Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

Producers 1A Group ("we," "us") operates this website to connect small and mid-scale family farmers across Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware with wholesale buyers and urban markets. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have under US state privacy laws.

Categories of personal information we collect

  • Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, business or farm name, and county/state, when you submit a contact form, questionnaire, or chat request.
  • Commercial information — crops grown, acreage, volumes, buying interests, and program participation you choose to share.
  • Internet and device activity — pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and interaction events.
  • Audio/chat content — messages you type into our Field Guide assistant and, if you opt in to "read aloud," the text sent for speech synthesis.
  • Inferences — limited interest signals used to route inquiries to the right program.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, health, or financial account data) through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Purposes for collection and use

  • Responding to farmer, buyer, partner, and press inquiries.
  • Operating aggregation, distribution, and program services you request.
  • Measuring site traffic and improving content and navigation.
  • Security, fraud prevention, and abuse rate-limiting.
  • Complying with legal, grant, and reporting obligations.

Sources of information

Directly from you (forms, chat, email, phone), automatically from your device as you browse, and occasionally from partner organizations that refer you to a program.

Third parties we share information with

  • Hosting and database providers that store form submissions and site content on our behalf.
  • Analytics providers (for example Google Analytics) that measure aggregate site usage.
  • AI service providers that generate Field Guide assistant responses and optional text-to-speech audio.
  • Email and communications providers used to reply to you.
  • Legal or governmental recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics and advertising cookies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out at any time using the toggle in or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor automatically.

Data retention

We keep inquiry and questionnaire records only as long as needed to serve you and satisfy legal, grant, or reporting obligations, then delete or de-identify them.
